Alison Doody
Alison Doody was born in Dublin in the year 1966. She was born into an affluent family. She was the youngest of three children. While in a convent, she discovered an obsession with art. After a couple of years in the convent, she returned to National College of Fine Arts in Dublin. But because she was lacking drive, she decided to take an absence and planned to give it ten months. In the meantime, while she was chatting with colleagues in a caf the still photographer approached her and inquired about her interest in modelling. The model agreed because she could utilize the cash to purchase pocket cash. In no time, she began working professional as a model. The modeling contract she signed led to commercial projects and eventually took her around the world. Then, one day, a casting director saw her work and recommended she consider acting instead. She was sent to London at the age of 19 which was where she won an audition to play in the new James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). Acting was a passion for her, and she decided to go after a career as an actor. She shot TV dramas in London as well as Dublin following her debut feature. Her biggest breakthrough was when she was cast as the lead in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as the Aryan seductress and Elsa Schneider. Elsa Schneider.
